Michele Di Falco listened to blues and jazz greats from before age ten. As a child she began singing and performing. She has a wide vocal range, performing styles as diverse as jazz, blues, country, and rock to traditional, folk and renaissance music. Some of the poems she writes become songs.
Ms. Di Falco has performed in various clubs in Chicago as well as Caffe Di Falco every week-end from 1985 - 1990 and in Di Falco Studio Gallery from 1990 - 2004. She has also performed her poetry (many of her art pieces have accompanying poetry) and has been on television and radio. She has appeared in articles in the Chicago Tribune, Crains Business Chicago, The Sun Times, The Free Press, The Daily Herald, and the Var Matin a newspaper serving the south of France.
Michele Di Falco has acquired international experience and has performed with musicians in Europe (Paris, Rome, Amsterdam) and Central America.
Michele sings and is now living in the south of France. She has performed in many clubs, cafes and restaurants. She also has been singing on village squares (cours), at Art Openings (Vernissage), in wine cellars (Caves de l'Hôtel) or Chateaus of the area of the Cote' D'Azur, two hours from Italy. She also has performed at the yearly Fête de Musique celebrated all over Europe.
